This is the new version of my drawings and I am feeling more confident about this one. I believe it shows off my artist in an interesting way and the bold writing of her name stands out on the page. The ear of the promotional offer in the corner adds a professional feel to the magazine and would be good for enticing buyers as people are often after free gifts. The range of fonts is something I wish to include in my actual magazine as that is what magazines tend to have. The mid shot of my artist will be far enough away to show a lot of what she is wearing but close enough so you can still see her face and her emotions. The barcode will appear in the bottom right corner as it will not be obscuring any of the photograph but will be in plain sight for those wishing to buy the magazine.
Contents Page Drawing
For my contents page, I hope to go for a blocky look, but with images all down the left side. I will have the right side, with the article titles, split up by headings such as 'features' and 'regulars'. This makes the page neat and organised and easy to navigate, making it a pleasure for someone to read rather than a chore. I will also use multiple fonts on this section of the magazine as it is what would be expected for a music magazine.
