Double Page Spread Photographs
I will have to choose one of these photographs to put on my double page spread. The setting I have chosen is to represent that my artist, Vita Wardle, has come from a rough background but is successful despite that. The setting is a run-down mining warehouse, which links with the fact that the North East of England was known for its mining history.
The aspect of being successful is shown through the outfit that my artist is wearing. Her jewellery is golden to show the 'riches' side of her.
Front Cover Photographs
The front cover photographs are some ways similar to the Double Page Spread photographs. For one, half of the outfit, the jewellery and skirt are the same as the previous shoot, but the shirt has changed to show the quirky side of her character, and that she has many sides to her personality. The animal print of the shirt adds a higher class to the outfit and shows she is able to afford more expensive clothing and prints.
The pose that is carried out in these pictures shows all of Vita's face so that her intense expression is absorbed by the reader, but her body is turned away to express that this isn't all of her, and she has a lot more to show to the world, because she is a new, upcoming artist.
